Rhonda J. Session-Shanklin, Success House President & CEO, is a native Houstonian and resident of Fort Bend County for over 20 years. She is married with two sons.
She attended both Xavier University of Louisiana and Texas A&M University, receiving a B.S. degree in Biology. She completed her M.P.H. with a focus on Health Services Organization at The University of Texas School of Public Health and received a J.D. degree from TSU Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
She is the owner of her law firm, Rhonda J. Session, Attorney and Counselor at Law, PC and has been practicing law for over 25 years primarily in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law and Personal Injury.
Through her advocacy in Children’s Protective Services cases, litigating on behalf of both children and parents, she worked diligently to reunify families and defend children’s best interests. It is with the backdrop of her educational background and particular work experience in mind that in March 2018 she pursued her purpose and founded Success House, A Road to Recovery, Inc., an organization dedicated to help strengthen families by focusing on healthy maternal-child bonds during children’s early development.
